Revolutionizing Fashion: A Captivating Interview with Fashion Designer Nicole Miller

In the world of fashion, Nicole Miller’s name stands out as one of the most iconic and influential fashion designers in the world. With four decades of experience, her name has become well-known throughout the fashion industry.

I asked her if there is a red carpet look that she was especially proud of…

“It was when Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were at the Mr. Mrs. Smith premiere. I didn't know about it, and my girlfriend came in, and she goes, ‘oh your dresses in the post,’ and I go,' Why is my dress in the post? She goes, "It's on Angelina Jolie,” she says, “Then I went to the airport the next day and was in People Magazine, InStyle, and InTouch. On every single magazine was Angelina and this dress. So that was pretty cool. And it’s a very cool dress.”

Miller is very close with Sex in the City author, Candace Bushnell. The two met because Bushnell initially dated Miller’s husband!

“She's such a cool girl,” says Miller, “And I have to say I always learned from her. Because, I mean, I have a company here, and I have people doing things for me and she is like, you know, the one-man operation. You know, because she has a brand. She's a whole brand herself. So she's pretty amazing.”

I asked Miller how she feels when she thinks of all of the women who have worn your dresses for special occasions, weddings, or anniversary parties.

“I always love hearing those stories. And when I get those letters, and you know, it's great when they send me a picture too. So I mean, I keep that all that like in notebooks and stuff. It's really nice to hear those stories. And also like on Instagram, when people get married in our dresses, they're always posting it. So some of these pictures have just been amazing. So I'm really happy that I can be part of their special day or occasion.”
